About Me
Hi, I'm Natalie and I live and work in the heart of Manchester city centre. When I'm not making the most of all the theatre, music and art the city has to offer, I enjoy escaping it all with long walks in nature with my dog, Meg.
My journey into therapy started when I reached out to a Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapist to help me with a life changing decision I felt compelled to make about my career, whilst I was also recovering from a traumatic bereavement. Having an opportunity to examine my early experiences, beliefs, values, thoughts and behaviours was life changing for me; I had no idea, at the time, how powerful therapy, with the right therapist, could be. Throughout my career I have been in roles supporting others and I left therapy inspired to share my new learning.
I invested my savings in returning to university to re-train, gained an MSc in Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapy and I have never looked back. For the last 6 years I have been privileged to work therapeutically with young people, young professionals and adults, in a range of settings including charities, schools and corporate settings.
Finding the right therapist is integral to your healing process. If you'd like to see if you think we could work well together, please contact me for a free 30 minute consultation. I'd love to hear from you.
I am trained and experienced in offering a wide range of evidence-based interventions to help you manage and overcome a wide range of difficulties. I have extensive experience in helping people to overcome generalised anxiety (excessive worry), OCD, health anxiety, panic, specific phobias, social anxiety, low self esteem, low mood and depression.
Therapy is tailored to meet your individual needs, and I will work with you to develop a treatment plan that is effective and sustainable.
I am accredited with the British Association of Behavioural & Cognitive Psychotherapies, which means you can rely on the highest standard of practice and an ongoing commitment to my own personal and professional development. I am also a qualified clinical supervisor and hold Enhanced DBS clearance.
